Frustrating
My experience is different from the majority on this page. Had an approved I-130 filed by my dad. However, came to the US and decided to file for AOS instead. Filed March 2016, interviewed July 2016 and wasn't approved till January 2017. Between the interview and approval, filed SR which went unanswered. Case was approved in January but did not receive my greencard till April 2017. Thank God I did. I filed with my son as a derivative. I forgot to sign and they returned his documents to me to append signature. Sent it back but was returned to me because according to them they could not locate the PD for him. Put all documents together again including a letter explaining that his I-485 was in my envelop and was only returned to me for signature. I included the PD. They sent it back saying the PD was not current. I decided to wait until I get my greencard to avoid the back and forth application. I finally sent them again this May 2017 with a copy of my greencard. I have not yet received any notification from them. I realay don't know what else to do.

To all of you waiting, keep holding on. You'll make it.
