Receipt for Oath Ceremony Inquiry
Hey all,
So the receipt for my Oath Ceremony has been mailed. They said that if I don't receive it by June 18th, to email them via e request on the USCIS. I got all of this by logging into my USCIS account and they said that this update was made on May 18th.
The thing is that they are supposed to mail it to my school address by the June 18th but I have to leave school for an internship in Georgia on June 1st and won't have access to the letter via mail.
Has anyone had experience with requesting the receipt for the oath ceremony via e request and if so how long does it take? I thought about requesting it before June 18th(request it now), but I don't know if that will affect my actual ceremony date. Everything is set to go with the ceremony but will requesting via e request affect my ceremony?
A part of me just saying be patient but another part is like what if they don't send it. My school is in New York. What do you guys suggest?
