Questioning my Attorney
I sent an email to my lawyer yesterday about raising an SR since my case (485/765/131) is on day 96 from PD (2/16). I got an automatic reply that he is out of the country on vacation, which is all good. I then got an email from his new paralegal a couple of hours later telling me that USCIS is processing cases received by 12/30/16 and my case is still pending, he said that USCIS would not accept the SR at this time and I just gotta wait... I'm calling BS on that since their website CLEARLY states you can make an SR 75 days from PD. I'm thinking that this guy didn't even bother call. I trust my attorney 100% he's always been upfront with me, just not sure about this new paralegal guy he has. Has anyone had an experience where USCIS wouldn't process or allow an SR, specially after 75 days?
