Wanted to share my timeline (rough estimate) in case it is helpful to others. My application was for adjustment of status and I'm married to USC.
Field Office: Chicago
PD: 3rd week of Jan 2017.
Days since PD Step
18 I got it done early as I was travelling out of the Country
31 Ready to Schedule an Interview
90 EAD Approved
95 Interview Scheduled
118 Interview & Case Approved
Our interview process was very straight forward. We were asked basic questions (name, birthday, address, etc) from our application and were done in about 20 mins. The officer was very professional and respectful. At the end of the interview he let us know that we were approved! My online status also updated in about two hours from the time of the interview.
