succesful A/P trip!
Hello all,
I want to say I had a successful flight back using interject airline through LAX. I thank everyone in here for there successful experiences that gave me courage to travel abroad after thinking twice about applying and to take the risk to see my sick grandmother in Mexico.
here Is my timeline:
-my lawyer sent application on January 13,2017
it was for Humanitarian purpose
-approval took about 3 months
- April 26th documents mailed to me
-Approval dates (one month) May 1-31st
I traveled may 18th - may 23th.
prior to arriving to LAX you will need to fill out a declaration form (make sure you fill it out correctly)
I came back a Tuesday so It wasn't as busy.
when it was my turn I handed the CBP the advance parole documents.
he asked me what was advance parole and I explained what it was, he also asked me what school I went too, where did I work, and what do I do and also how old was I , NO questions asked about my trip. I was really nervous from the inside but I did not show it from the outside LOL! no need to be nervous, as long as you have a clean record you should be fine.
he then took me to the secondary room and waited about 30m, officer called my name and handed me my stamped passport , with a copy of my advance parole document ( they kept one).
and then I was set to go.
it was such a great experience going back to Mexico, I recommend you guys not to be nervous and enjoy your trip.
it is SOOO worth it, don't think about it twice and GO FOR IT!
