Marriage Based
12/22/2016: Biometrics appointment letter received (appt date 01/06/2017)
12/27/2016: Biometrics done (walk-in, no issue doing it early)
Nothing for a really long time. No updates online, nothing new after "fee received" and making it really difficult to be patient. I didn't even receive an online notice that I was scheduled for the biometrics appointment.
03/02/2017: Interview scheduled letter received (appt date 04/04/2017) and still no update online.
03/22/2017: EAD approved and card sent to production (update online)
03/30/2017: EAD mailed (update online)
04/03/2017: EAD received in mail
04/04/2017: Interview day. A few questions regarding how we met and all the Yes/No questions from the application. Medical did include gonorrhea but interviewing officer asked for it to be noted in a different line. No RFE for a new medical was generated before the appointment so we had to go back and submit the updated page after the fact.
04/17/2017: Updated medical received by USCIS.
Nothing for another long time. No update online that interview was completed and no update that an RFE was generated and no update that the RFE was received.
05/18/2017: I-485 approved!! Card sent to production!! (online update)
05/23/2017: Card mailed (online update)
05/25/2017: Card received!!!
Hope this helps someone out there! It's a long process and the lack of knowing what is going on can get frustrating. Sending positive vibes!
