EAD Renewal In 42 Days
Hey guys I promised myself that If I got my EAD before the expiration of my first card. I will share my experience with you guys, so here is my experience:

March 4th,: Application mailed to USCIS Vermont by USPS

March 9th: I got informed by text, and E-mail that application has been submitted and I also
Received the receipt number for my case.

March 17th: I received a letter from USCIS with the updated info. as my last name needs to be
updated and I have called them for that.

April 7th: I received a mail confirming that They have approved my renewal, and I will receive it in
                 next mail

April 12th: USCIS mailed me my EAD card

April 14th: I received my renewed EAD card, and I received it on the same till when my last card was valid.

I read so many reviews about EAD before filling it and I found out that I have to take care of following things:

1. Apply by mail - I don't whether it makes some difference or not, but looking at n number of reviews, I found out that people who filed by mail instead of electonically got their EAD really fast.
The other benefit is you don't have to go for biometrics which otherwise surely would delay the process.

2. I had enclosed the following documents in support of my renewal application for EAD:

- Completed form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
- Form G-1145 (eNotification)
- Copy of I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt of filing I-485
- Copy of previously approved Employment Authorization Card (Front)
- Copy of previously approved Employment Authorization Card (Back)
- Previously approved EAD mailer information and approval notice
- 2 color photographs (A# lightly printed in the back)
- Copy of I-94 arrival/departure card
- Copy of driver's license
- Copy of passport's biographic pages

I am sure this really helped the office to expedite the process as he/she can find all the information along with the supported documents.

I hope this is something helpful for you guys and all the best!!
