Atlanta Interview
Well, I have just got back from my interview at the Atlanta Field Office, and yes I was nervous, but I do believe the officer that interviewed me was more nervous, at least my hands weren't shaking.

I say that because when I go there I went and checked in and they sent me upstairs, so up I go and wait at the check indesk there only to be sent back downstairs because to person doing my interview was going to be doing it down there. On the whole of that 1st floor the Officer that interviewed me and his supervisor were the only two people working, I asked why it was so quiet for a Monday and he told me all the action was going on on floors 2 and 3. I may be wrong, but I did get the impression he was a newbie.

He was such a lovely man, first I had to swear that I would tell the truth, then he tried to take my Biometrics (again), but his workstation wasn't working, so he took me through to his supervisors office and he did it for me.
Next I had to read a line from a paper he gave me, then I had to write what he told me to write on another piece of paper, then the questions from the Civics test, 6 in total. After that he basically just went through my application form and asked me questions about it, it seemed to me that he was checking to make sure the answer I gave him was the same as on the form. Then he printed me of a form and said he needed is supervisor to check it through, but not to worry because I'd done really well and that I should receive my Oath letter within 60 to 90 days.

It is correct that if you are from Alabama, you will take you oath in Montgomery and soon the interviews Alabama residents will be held there too.

One more thing for anybody that needs to go overnight for an early morning appointment, the Doubletree by Hilton was a great place to stay, you just walk out the back entrance of the hotel and the field office is directly opposite, couldn't have been more convenient.

Now back to waiting,

Good luck everyone
