Just got EAD approval today!
Hi All,
I've been a silent observer of this forum for a few months now. I was brought to the US as a child (9), and had no idea of my status. I always had a SS and have been working since I was 16. Found out my status this past January after I received a promotion, and did not pass the Everify process (subsequently losing my job). Filed I-130, I-485 and I-765 (MSC in MO) through an attorney. Anyway, here is my timeline:

PD: 02/09/2017
Biometrics: 03/23/2017
05/19/2017: After 100 days called USCIS and asked to expedite I-765 due to severe financial loss, cashed out 401K, dug into savings etc. Also contacted local congressman's office for assistance with following up on my case. Called my former boss and asked if they were willing to hire me back if and when I had my EAD. He said yes and started the process with HR and CEO to draft a job offer letter.
06/02/2017: Received job offer letter and faxed this along with cover letter and copies of major bills: mortgage, HOA, car notes etc. to USCIS. Also emailed copies of the same to congressman's office.
06/06/2017: Received confirmation that request for expedition was:
 1. Assigned to an officer
 2. Response was sent
 3. Request was completed
06/07/2017: New card is being produced (119th day)

It has been a long and stressful process, but I am looking forward to returning to work. My wife has been such a huge support throughout the ordeal. I'm glad I found this forum and learned that you can be proactive and attempt to expedite your case (despite my attorney stating it would not make a difference). I wish everyone luck in their journey, stay positive!
