How long between approval at interview and change in online status to card production?
We filed for adjustment of status based on my marriage to a US citizen. Wife is the US citizen and I am the beneficiary. We had our interview yesterday (6/9/2017) morning. It went well and the interviewer said that he was recommending my case for approval and that we can expect the green card in 4-6 weeks. However, my status online today (the next day) still says "Interview Scheduled." I am a little bit worried because it seems like for others who were approved at the interview, the online status changed to "card in production" a few hours after the interview.
Can others who were approved at the interview tell me if they also had some delay after the interview? How long was the delay and was there any reason for this?
Here is my timeline:
Priority Date: March 20, 2017
Biometrics done: April 13, 2017
"Ready for interview schedule": April 28, 2017
Interview scheduled: May 01, 2017
Interview completed: June 09, 2017. Approved.
