Adjustment of Status - I-485

On February 08 2017, had AOS interview in Houston Field Office. Me and my wife were separated in the begging. My wife was interviewed first and I was interviewed after her. The interview was normal everything went very well. In the end the I.O took some documents and told me she will make copies if it and took our 5 photographs. After that she said, all set and walked me out but didn't told me if I was approved or not. The online status never changed after that and we called them after 2 moths and put SR on our case, they told us to call after 30 days. We called them after 30 days and they said we are doing background checks and that's normal procedure and again asked us to all after 30 days. We called them again and they told us same thing that they were still doing background checks and told everything is good on your side and if we need anything we'll inform you in the mail.
