My husband was approved today for GC @ Federal Plaza:)
Short Timeline:
PD 6/23/16
BIO 7/18/16
EAD 9/10/16
INTERVIEW 6/14/17
Out appt was scheduled for 2:15 pm and we arrived around 1:30. Our lawyer joined us around 1:45. We were called in around 3:30 so it was along wait for us but the IO turned out to be this very pleasant lady who honesty asked me an my husband very basic questions like how we met and where we work and my husband was also asked about our baby's due date as I am currently pregnant . My husband was also asked if we had taken any trips together so he answered that yes and we provided plane tickets.. Then she went through the application Y/N questions. She asked for originals so she could inspect them and then asked us for proves of marriage. After that she went through our wedding albums ( we had 3: wedding ceremony, wedding party as this was separate event @ our house with friends and miscellaneous photos). And that was it. She said that everything looked great ad we should get an answer in 20 days after they runs their checks. We have received an email within two our that his case was APPROVED!
We brought with us:
copies of ID, copies of rent checks as we did not have the lease, Insurance : health, car & Rental, bank accounts, taxes along W-2's, employment verification letters and pay stops, credit cards, beneficiary letter on my IRA account for my husband , brokerage account, ez pass, con ed bills, national grid bills, cell phone bills and some miscellaneous mail :)
