Naturalization update - Indianapolis field office
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to post an update in case it's of use to anyone. Here is my timeline
1. January 20, 2017, application received
2. February 17, 2017 - fingerprinted
3. April 11 - interview
4. June 13 - oath ceremony.

Overall it took slightly less than 5 months. I want to add that I went over and above in providing documents, tax returns, travel records, etc. with the submission and at the interview. I took originals and copies for the immigration officer at the interview - which surprised even him. This year's tax returns for example, which we filed before the deadline so I could take it with me - they asked for it. The oath ceremony was at USCIS and basically all they asked was have you traveled overseas or had any interaction with the police since the interview (I had not).

Wishing everyone good luck with the process
