Hello, here's my story.
I entered USA (port of entry: Los Angeles) back in 2002 with J-1 visa as an exchange student with Work & Travel program. I overstayed my visa and here I am. I received SSN in June 2002 so it was easier for me to get driver license. I kept working for the same company for next 12 years (I was paying taxes) even my work permit was expired, then I opened my own business back in 2014.
I got married to USC in October 2016.
PD: Feb 10 2017
Biometrics: done March 23 2017
Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview: April 23 2017
Received EAD: May 19 2017
I don't know why it takes so long now? what happened to "3 months green card" ?
I was supposed to fly to my home country to visit my parents this summer but it looks like ain't gonna happen, airfare tickets are going to garbage:(((
