BIG UPDATE
Hello guys, the journey is finally over. I can't believe that I'm even typing this, but let me share my experience with y'all.

I got married in April 2015 to my best friend and on September , we applied for the adjustment of status for me. We hired a lawyer and helped us out big time with getting my work permit and social security. Fast forward, we had our interview on Feb 8th, 2016. I was so nervous that I couldn't even think, but my lawyer calmed me down. The interview went smooth, but I messed up on one question and the immigration officer was so mean, so I thought I was done. I didn't get approved nor asked to bring more evidence. Fast forward 3 months later, I get my first RFE, basically asking the same information that I brought to the interview. It was crazy because she made all the copies to the evidence that I brought to the interview, but I still sent everything back on time. I didn't hear anything from the immigration officer until my fingerprints and medicals were expired, but this time, something was different, the officer gave me only ONE week to send in my medicals and fingerprints. Usually IO give you a month to bring in evidence. I was confused and worried, but the next day I went straight to my doctor and got my medicals and then I followed up with my fingerprints appointment. When I took my medicals letter and fingerprints information to my lawyer, he sent it right away to the IO, because we knew how crazy she is. A week later, I received a letter that my case was denied because she didn't receive the new evidence on time. At this time, all my hope is gone, didn't know what to do. Stressed and worried. The only thing that kept me going was my wife and prayer. My lawyer applied to get my case re-opened because it was a mistake on their part. To make it short lol they re-opened my case and admitted that it was their fault. It was an error. This was just a few weeks ago.

Then today, I opened my mail today and received that my I-485 got approved for 10 years!! I couldn't believe it. After so long, after so many stress nights, crying, praying and believing that something good would come! Now I'm waiting for my card to arrive.

TO EVERYBODY THAT'S STILL WAITING, PLEASE DON'T LOSE HOPE! WE ARE WARRIORS AND CONQUERS. EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. TRUST AND BELIEVE!

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Love.
