I am going to share my wonderful horrible experience. I am married with a American woman.
My timeline:
12/1/2016 They received the application for the I-485 and I-765.
12/09/2016 Fingerprints Accepted.
3/8/2017 Request for evidence (Taxes 2016 from my wife and joint sponsor: my mother in law).
4/10/2017 They received the response for the RFE.
6/28/2017 Second RFE (asking for information about my father in law for be the joint sponsor(who is not even the joint sponsor)
In total are 183 days (8 months) without receive my I-765 (work permit). Two request for evidence when I have an immigration attorney (yes, it is look like a money waste in the attorney....) I have daughter with my wife and another one coming. I need to work.. do you know someone with this same situation? do you know what I could do to accelerate the process?? I cannot wait another 80 days to get an answer for a RFE...
By the way, immigration office: Saint Louis, MO. Run to another city if you have to apply here.
