Timeline for Detroit Field Office
My wife came to the USA on a K-1 Visa from the Philippines. We married within the 90 days.

1/6/17 - PD - I-131, I-765, I-485 - Chicago Lockbox
2/15/17 - Biometrics Completed (Detroit Field Office)
4/29/17 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received
5/18/17 - Interview Scheduled for June 21
6/21/17 - Interview - Approved (Detroit Field Office)
6/28/17 - Green Card Received (Old Style)

No RFE's, No Attorney

USCIS Interviewer was very pleasant and the interview was not stressful. I know many K-1's do not need an interview but I guess we were the lucky random selection.

I have enjoyed reading many of the experiences on this forum and have one suggestion for others.... Please read through the many available pages of experiences. I see the SAME questions asked over and over... "how long from the time my card is mailed until I receive it?" And all of the Service Requests! If more of you are patient, then the people doing the processing will have more time to complete their normal work. Even though it is sometimes difficult, be patient, unless the wait is extreme. Just my opinion.

Thanks all!
