Had my interview today in San Diego and was approved on the spot. The Officer was a young guy, very polite. Just verified the information on my I-485. I am a F1 visa overstay. Overstayed 16 years and worked the entire time. Married a USC in October 2016. I had a SSN that said not valid for work without authorization. and have been paying taxes. When I did my OPT, my employer never checked the expiration date of my temp EAD so I continued working. Earned well over 40 SS credits so i filled the I-864W. No need for a sponsor.
