EAD card
Hi All,
I am a newbie here and I would appreciate your help so much if you could help answer a few questions I have.
I'm an F1 student on OPT, my current EAD card is expiring on 07/18/2017. We got married on 04/04/2017.
Filed my package AOS (i485, i130, i131, i765 etc) on April 14, 2017.
April 28, 2017, received notice of biometric appointment for May 16, 2017
May 16, 2018, showed up and had the fingerprint appointment.
** Now still waiting for updates, it's been almost 90 days and I still haven't got any updates on my EAD card. I don't care much about the green card but I really need my EAD card to continue working at my current job. I checked the USCIS case status on the website and the last update was on 04/20 just basically tell me that "the National Benefits Center is working on your case" !!!
Does anyone have any advice? For the record, I live in Minnesota, sent the AOS package to Chicago and had my fingerprint appointment at the Field office in St. Paul, Minnesota.
