Customs and Immigration at Albuquerque Airport
Hi All!
So I will be traveling from Albuquerque to Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico in August or early September using Advanced Parole. I am currently looking for flights have the option to either fly through Houston or Dallas. My question is, for those of you who have had to make connection flights through bigger airports before arriving at your home airport, will I go through inspection in Texas when I first land back in the US or will that happen once I arrive in Albuquerque? (Technically, the Albuquerque airport is an international airport but I think most flights have a stop elsewhere before actually going or coming back from abroad.) I'm just trying to figure out how much time I should leave as a lay over between flights. I wouldn't want to miss my connection from Dallas or Houston to Albuquerque. Thanks in advance for any helpful information.
