Minnesota office is unbelievable!!!
Minnesota field office should take a little responsibility and adhere to USCIS's average processing time. It is absolutely shameful that they feel no pressure by the huge backlog they have caused going through the cases as slowly as they do. I just check the updated processing times, as of May 31, 2017 they are "WORKING" on May 8, 2016 cases, within the past 3 months they have crept 28 days forward. IT IS RIDICULOUS!!! My friends from other states wait an average of less than 6 months for their whole GC process, they can also schedule infopass appointments almost anytime they want or directly call their field office. Meanwhile in Minnesota after patiently waiting for a year, we don't even know how much longer we should wait; we cannot call them, and if we can schedule an infopass appointment (after relentlessly rechecking the scheduling website for a week) they blissfully tell us: "you have to wait, we don't have any more information at this time." To all my fellow applicants whose office is Minnesota, please don't sit still, call (ask your USC petitioner to call) your congressmen and raise their attention to this ridiculously unprofessional operations.
