Interview today
Hi,
I had my interview today and it was pretty much what we expected. She asked each of our parents' names and where they live, about our financials and if we have joint vs. individual accounts, who lives in our home and who pays bills, she also asked about how we met, when we decided to get married and where we got married. She looked at our photos and kept a few. She also kept our bank statements. She also asked about any family I have in the US and what their statuses are, she got me in a corner there because I couldn't explain much. The only reason why she said she won't be approving my green card is because she needs a birth certificate from my country showing the name on my passport. My birth certificate is from the hospital where I was born and it shows more names than what's on my passport. :( I was bummed but now I have to try to get a birth record from my country that matches my passport.

Does anybody else have a similar experience? If yes, did you have to do a name change to reflect the name on the passport? I'm not too sure about what she expects from me but she said she'll send me a letter. Either way, I feel like our interview was super chill and easy (lasted for about an hour).

Thanks!
