Advance Parole

hello everyone i would like to share my current situation with all of you in hope of getting some feedback from someone who has gone thru this, i would really appreciate all your comments, thank you in advance.

i applied for advance parole on June 20, 2017 for humanitarian purpose - wrote a declaration letter stating that i wanted to visit my home country Mexico to visit my father who i havent seen in 18 years. (did not submit any other evidence)

i received my receipt notice about a week after i applied, stating my case was being processed.

7/10/17 - this week my father sent me a letter from a doctor stating he has diabetes and high blood pressure (which i was unaware of since we only recently started having communication )

i am thinking it would be a good idea to send my and his birth certicate along with the letter (transalted ) to uscis . and on the cover letter write (supporting documentation for case ######## )

however this morning i called my uscis to ask if it was ok to send those documents even though they have not asked for them and they said i should wait until they request additional evidence and my case is put on hold...

im not sure what i should do, specially because of all the things being said about daca being in risk of getting canceled in september... do you all have any advice ?...
