Chicago Interview Completed - No Oath Ceremony Ltr
I'm posting for a friend. She was interviewed for naturalization at Chicago and told she was recommended for approval. A few days later, the agent called her and told her he'd forgotten to have her sign one page. She went back in and signed it, and now is playing the waiting game. Searching for her receipt number online yields the message "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled."

Here are the dates:
5/10/17 - interview
5/16//17 - call from agent
5/17/17 - applicant went back in to sign forms
6/25/17 - first time we saw the "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled" note online
7/19/17 - still waiting!

Can anyone else weigh in on how long they have had to wait for a ceremony when interviewed at the Chicago office this year? I'm wondering if this is just a post-election pile up of applicants that's slowing down the system.

Thanks!
