Interview on July 25th
Interview Yesterday, Got there at 820AM and waited for about 2hrs. This female accompanied by a male came to the waiting area and asked for my wife to follow her. I think either one of the officers is under review/supervision cause I noticed all the cases she had interviewed the male officer is always in front of her and she doesn't usually call out your ticket number, instead she walks in the waiting area and come get people.
I noticed every couple that was there were separated as well.
She asked my wife about my name and parents names. Asked questions about pictures we had. her school and old address. she asked her if I ever go by another name and she said No.
After she came and asked me to follow her, she asked about my name and address and asked about how my asylum cases got terminated and questions about asylum as well which threw me off because I wasn't prepared for those questions. she asked me the old address and I said about my 2 previous and I couldn't remember the 3rd one cause it was almost 5-6years but she called it out herself. At the end, she asked me I ever change my name and I say No and she asked if I have another name and I said no bt my grandpa called this name because he couldn't spell my first and just made a shortcut for it.
At the end, she was like everything looks fine and she took all my previous ead cards but hand me the current one. She said she couldn't find the original 130 approval stamped from her file but she sees in the system that it was approved. she told my wife the same thing before I walked in. I handed her more documents proofs and she said she doesn't need all that because the 130 is already approved but she just can't the Original stamped from the office and that she'll request it from the officer who interviewed us on the 130 and request my asylum file as well. I have a feeling she couldn't make her decision because of the other male officer who was supervision/shadowing her.
I was so optimist that we would get approved on the spot because of people reviews on here but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I guess now I have to wait and see what happens.
Should I be worried at all? and when would I be able to hear back from her?
