San Francisco Interview Experience
Hello everyone,

I just came home from my interview in San Francisco. My PD is November 3, 2016 and I was an F-1 student and maintained my F-1 status until today. I had my interview this morning at 9:30 AM and got approved on the spot (same sex marriage)!! Here are a few details about the interview?

My husband and I showed up at 9:00 AM as our appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM. The interview officer called us in at 9:15 already! He said it would be very short because our initial packet was very complete. He verified all the information on the forms and we gave him some additional documents since my husband has a new job now and we moved to a different place. Then asked the following questions:

- How did you meet?
- Did you meet each other's families?
- Who does the cooking?
- Do you still go to school? (since I was on an F-1 visa)

That was IT! It was super short. He then said that my green card would be mailed to me in a week or two, and that I would have to remove the conditions (I-751) in 2 years. About 15 minutes after we walked out of the building, I got the update on my phone "Card being produced". I am so happy. It couldn't have gone better for us.

Good luck everyone! I have been reading this forum for 9 months but the journey ends here for me, finally! Let me know if you have questions!
