DS160 question
Hi there! I have an appointment scheduled for L1 blanket extension in Canada. I just realized that I had to make an update to my DS160. I filled a fresh DS160 and have a new confirmation number.
As per the website I cannot update my DS160 confirmation number on my existing appointment. I need to cancel the appointment and book a fresh one. I don't want to do that as it will affect my travel plans.
Has anyone had an experience of updating old DS160 confirmation number with a new one at the consulate (as part of the verification queue before the actual interview)? I know in India this could be done (at least a few years back). Does this approach work in Canada?
Any other suggestions are also welcome!
