SR: 8/1/2017
Customer service rep informed me that the service request went through and I should hear from an IO by August 29, however, I have a job offer for my dream job and I9 documents are pending being completed. The customer service rep informed me that I could present my I797 receipt notice in order not to lose the job offer, however that does not sound right to me. I have until about August 16 to have my EAD in hand to finish my onboarding for the job. Very nervous about having my EAD in time for start date of Aug 24. Any advice?
