Hey everyone,
hope i can get some advises and help from you regarding this, and thanks in advance for your answers.
Field office Miami-Dade
04/20/2017 -- PD: (I-130 & I-485)
06/12/2017 -- RFE received from USCIS
06/21/2017 -- FP done
07/05/2017 -- Response to RFE sent to USCIS
07/12/2017 -- Case status online (Response to RFE under review)
07/17/2017 -- late submission of I-765 (EAD) application
07/31/2017 -- EAD was rejected by USCIS
03/08/2017 -- re-submission of EAD packet + request of Expedite
Today I called USCIS and requested to talk to a L2 IO, she was very nice & helpful she explained to me why my EAD application was rejected (no fee included) but since I got an I-485 pending I don't need to pay the fee. she said to me that she wrote it on the system and requested that my application was reconsidered, and to expect a decision within 15 days. secondly regarding my I-485, as we are in 110 days by now she issued a SR to the IO in charge of the case concerning the RFE response review and she said to also expect an answer within 15 days.
My questions are: Did anyone has a similar experience? Can i expect to hear from them sooner than the 15 days? if I'm lucky enough. Please dear friends, share your experiences and/or advises. I will really appreciate that.
