EAD received: May 13th, 2017.
Interview scheduled: July 10th for Aug 14th.

We walked in 50 mins before our scheduled time.
Immigration officer called us in about 2 mins after the appointment time. A lady in her late 30s or early 40s with a friendly smile. She swore us in before allowing us to sit. Then she started with me(the immigrant): she confirmed basic info like full name, date of birth, my parents names, country of birth, current address and immigration history and I missed my last entry date by a day which she pointed out. Then she asked questions on form i-485 pertaining to criminality.

To my US citizen spouse: she confirmed that she was married to me, her basic info and then asked about how we met and details of progression of the relationship which she allowed both of us to answer. She then ask for evidence which I had not already submitted: medical, receipt of engagement ring and gift letter, wedding pictures some of which she kept, title deed of our primary residence.

She took her notes and said she is approving the application and proceeded to explain removing conditions and becoming a citizen.

Thanks to all of you on this platform: those who ask questions and those who answer. Finally happy to be done with this crucial step.
