Hello, everyone!
Just wanted to share with you all about the interview process my husband and I had. I am a USC and my husband is the one applied for Conditional GC since we are married for less than two years. Our appt was at 9:15am @ Newark Field office. We did have our lawyer with us but you don't really need a lawyer. My husband wanted a lawyer after I told him it's not necessary. But, if you have a complicated case then you probably need a lawyer. Our wasn't complicated just precautionary. Then, we were called in by our IO close to 11am. We were lucky that day we got a very nice IO and our lawyer knew the IO, who didn't take much time....basically for us it was two mins interview. He sworn us in. He asked our ID, passport, basic question like how we met, how long we dated, what places we visited. He did not ask anything from us since he had everything before and complimented us on how well prepared and organized we were and just looked our photo albums even after he said no need to but still showed it to him. Next, he went on with yes/no questions which is the end of the interview from application. In the end he took i94 and explained about conditional GC and congratulated us.
