Biometrics appt. 2/3/17
Case Approval Was Certified By USCIS - I485 1/27/17
Received RFE letter 2/2/17
Biometrics done 2/3/17
Sent RFE to USCIS 2/4/17
USCIS received RFE 2/8/17
USCIS scheduled interview 7/7/17
Interview 8/9/17
Approved 8/11/17
Card sent to production 8/14/17
Interview:
The interview went well. We waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes. We were sworn in, she took my picture and fingerprints. She asked how did we meet, when did we meet, how old is our soon, where is he now, if we have more children, our ages, if we have met each other's parents, asked the yes/no questions from I-485, thanked us for being very organized and explained how to remove the conditions "if we are approved"... It was a very friendly conversation, she even suggested a new treatment for my brother who is a Type 1 diabetic! I asked if she thinks we are going to get approved, she smiled and said yes.
We didn't hear anything from the interview until yesterday (5 days after the interview). The notification said that we were approved 2 days after the interview.
Thank you so much for all of your experiences, information and motivation! Now it's time to get the actual card in the mail.
