Hello All, I've learned lots from reading this forum, so here is my experience

Adjustment of status from F1 to resident being married to an American citizen
Filed mid July using a lawyer didn't get a priority date till august (I-485, I-131, I-130, I-131)

August 18 2016:PD field office houston
Sept 13 2016 :did early walk in for biometrics
Sept 10 2016 :RFE
Oct 4th 2016 : Received rfe notice
Oct 19, 2016 : EAD &Travel authorization approved (AP)
Nov 3, 2016 : Recieved Combo card in mail

.....and silence ever since

July 17th, 2017: applied for renewal of EAD and travel authorization (AP), received NOA

I know its a brutal wait, but just staying happily married, working , and travelling keeps my mind off of everything. My husband and I have traveled together twice on AP, they never give us problems, i do have to go to a secondary inspection area, but the most has been 30 minutes, nothing like the 2-3 hour waits i used to experience while on OPT prior to starting this process. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

We will all get there, stay patient and remain kind. God Bless
