Green Card received...
Hi Everyone,

I really can't express my excitement. Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences, really helped me a lot. So finally I received my green card today. If you read my previous post you'll see my timeline. My interview was scheduled 7/3 (105 days after filing)
Interview was on 8/2 (135 days after filing) in Chicago by 9am. Pretty smooth experience, IO was nice and professional, swore us in, confirmed our date of birth, address and how long we been married for. My husband and I had a pretty bulky package when we initially filed the petition, we hired an immigration lawyer and also had him present at the interview. We just went with updated documents like utility bills, bank statements, my husband's pay stubs and and plenty photos. He reviewed all those, took my picture and finger prints, asked the Y/N questions and told us he'll be recommending our case for approval and we'll get a feedback in 60 days. Here I'm today, with my Green card in my hand, exactly 2 weeks after the interview and 148 days since we filed the petition.

I wish everyone good luck!!
