Hey guys,
I would like to share with you my experience. I'm an F1 student visa married to a US citizen. My husband sent our package including all the forms needed I 130, I 765, I 485 ,g-325 both mine and his, I-130A, I-864, pictures of both of us, supporting documents and his tax returns forms and W2, birth certificate for the both of us on the 25th of July. We did send it via express mail so they got it on on the 26th of July. I was at work when my husband told me we got a mail on 08/12 but unfortunately they returned the whole package. They sent us 3 letters including our package saying that i 485, i 765 and i 130 were all rejected for the following reason" the payment amount was incorrect, please read the instructions and send it back" however it looks like they went through the paperwork and everything else paperwise is correct. My husband first sent a money order of $1780 because that's what we saw on the internet. Then we had to go check now on the instructions and form I-485 is now $1140, I-130 is now $535 and I-765 is now 495 including the biometric fees. My husband went ahead and did another $390 money order yesterday night and he sent it overnight shipping via FedEx today 08/15 before going to work and it's expected to be delivered at Chicago tomorrow 08/16 by 10:30 am. I am freaking out that it's still going to take another 2 weeks to get an answer. Could anyone tell me their experience or if it won't take too long this time for us to get an answer since they already went through our paperwork? It's going to be hell living for the next 2 weeks but my husband is doing his best to make me feel calm but I can't . It's tough. Thank you guys for showing some support here
