filed in late nov 2016. NY field office.
I made online SR beginning of July and have't heard anything by the date promised on the confirmation email.
so on 8/7 i filed another one and today i got a response.
The status of this service request is:
Recently you contacted USCIS concerning your pending Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Systems show that your application is in the queue pending an interview appointment. You should be receiving this appointment notification from your local Field Office. If you need to expedite your case, you may contact your local USCIS Field Office.
Sounds like a generic answer, but at least I know it's waiting for an interview. I never got any RFEs.
