Hey everyone, just here to share my adjustment of status experience from Denver.
PD 10/26/16
We finally had our interview today after waiting about 10 stressful months. We showed up 30 minutes early before we were sworn in by a young and really nice immigration officer. He basically just asked us questions from our previous applications, as well as asking about our love story. He looked at the photo album of our wedding and pictures of friends and family in depth. After that we gave him all our supporting documents that included; utility bill, insurance cards, home lease, bank statements, and a version of the contract of our new home we are purchasing together. After he concluded the interview he told us to check our case status online in 24 hours for the decision. We checked a few hours later and it updated to "your new card is being produced"!!
So i just wanted to say Denver area processing time is super loooong. Definitely longer than most states. Been a very unnerving year, but reading everyone's stories on this forum has made waiting that much easier. DON'T LOSE HOPE!
