PD: 5/26/2016
Case ready to be interviewed: 7/26/2016
EAD: 8/16/2016
During the whole year, they never sent us any sort of interview notice until my wife and I kept going back to the field office/infopass. Our file was claimed to be "stuck" so the field office eventually did a manual request for our case to be sent to the local field office. From there, they manually scheduled an interview for us with a phone call.
Interview Date: 8/8/2017
As of today, decision is still pending. We went back to the field office on 8/17/2017 asking for an update and the infopass office stated that our case is still in review as there was a security check/background check being requested. Has anyone experienced this before and what is the expected time frame for this? We have been waiting so long for this process to be completed. It has become exhausting!
