my timeline
Nebraska office based on C 08 pending asylum. (had to wait 150 days from the date of filing the case to apply for the EAD card)

April 14: Case received
..............
countless service requests, expedite requests, talking to lvl 2 officers and once contacted a congressman, all didn't help.
..............
August 15: Card is being produced (4:50 pm)
August 18: Card is mailed (late Friday)
August 22: Card in hand.

total 129 days.

next will apply for the SSN, they say it takes from as fast as 4 days up to 2 weeks, will see.

but i see cases are moving faster now......GOOD LUCK all.

i have a question for people who did asylum too, what's next regarding the asylum case? can i track what will happen with the same receipt number in USCIS site or it has to be followed up by the lawyer?

one advice for anyone who didn't file for the card yet and is going to:
DO IT YOURSELF AND SAVE THE LAWYER FEES, YOU WILL NEED THIS MONEY WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE CARD, LAWYERS ARE A.HOLES THEY JUST FILL THE FORM AND MAIL IT, FORMAS ARE AVAILABLE WITH A DETAILED INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO FILL IT AND FREE ONLINE, ANYONE CAN DO IT.....I wish someone had told me that before.
