Waiting for EAD/ apply for marriage based green card
Hi Forum, I'm hoping to hear some advice or someone to talk to, I'm super worried and the wait on EAD card is so long, even though I know it's supposed to be 90 days or so. My husband is in the Navy, we got married in Jan 2017, he went underway for 6 weeks afterwards. We've known each other for 2 years before our marriage.
I came here in 2010 under F-1. I got my Bachelor's 3 years ago, I've lived in Washington for little over 6 years now. My background is all clean. Fast forward, I finished my certificate program in June 2017. I'm not under OPT.

I know it's only Sep 2 today but I heard that EAD would take quite long. I need EAD to contribute to the household. Does anyone have any guess why EAD takes so long? I've read other people's experiences and a few of them didn't wait exactly 3 months to receive the work permit. Whoever's reading this I hope you have more luck :) Please share your experience too =D
