09/09/2016 - We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization .
09/19/2016 - We scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment.
10/07/2016 - We are scheduling your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , for an interview.
03/2017 - Interview Scheduled for 4/19/17
4/19/17 - Interview test passed but got letter "Decision cannot be made at this time"
have not heard anything back since then. Called couple of times and was told it was within the normal processing time. It has been more than 120 days and status still has not changed.
Only reason that stopped the decision at the time of an interview was I was arrested for DUI in 9/25/14 - but this was taken care of and all the needed fines/required courses and classes completed and proof submitted to the court and judge had closed the case as well. I did indicate this on my application and truthfully told the IO at the time of the interview as well.
Has anyone in the same boat as me or suggestions can be given? What other reasons can cause such an delay?
I have been in the states since 1994 and always renewing the GC. My GC is also expiring in Nov 2017 as well.
