Deployed Military Spouse
I finally got my interview notice after 10 months. My husband is currently deployed overseas and will not be in the country the day that my interview is set for. My lawyer has contacted the section chief of my field office and it was adviced that I reschedule the interview until he gets back. I have a letter from his commanding officer stating that he is deployed and cannot attend this interview. Everything I read online says I CAN appear to the interview as long as I have a deployment letter and/or his orders. My lawyer insists on rescheduling. I went to two other lawyers today and they said I need to show up to the appt. I really don't want to reschedule. I have waited for so long. I do not know what to do next.
