The whole journey; in two formats :)
Long story short:
PD 11/22/2016
Interview notice on 8/4/2017
Interview held on 9/6/2017
Approval on spot for 10-years green card
Green Card received today 9/15/2017

And for those who like details like I do, here is the detailed version of the story:
11/22/2016 PD for forms i-485, i-130 and i-131 (Yes, we didn’t apply i-765 thanks to the ignorant attorney we hired)
12/31/2016 Notice for Biometrics on 1/13/2017
1/6/2017 early walk-in for biometrics
Online Status never changed from “Fingerprint fee received”
No RFEs, no InfoPasses, no tier-2 officers, just kept waiting, praying and hoping.
8/4/2017 Notice for initial interview
9/6/2017 the big day, I mean the interview.
We were so nervous, panicked and worried. We have been truly married for more than two years, we have a long love story, we never lived apart, not even for a single night, and both of us pay attention to details... But we had too many weak points which we were completely aware of;
Thanks to the attorney, we didn’t submit the form i-765, that means no SSN, no driver license, no joint credit card statement, no state ID, no jointly owned car, nothing!!! The tax return was mistakenly filed as “Single” when we were actually married, some of the documents we submitted were dated within 30 days from the date of entry to the US visa, the US visa application said “Single” however it was received (and dated) after marriage, all of our correspondence, chats, emails, messages were not in English, We both lived together overseas, so we don’t have any call log that shows we are calling each other, even in the US we rarely speak over the phone, although the forms said “no interpreter is needed” we had to hire an interpreter for the interview.
I told ya we have too many (and fatal) weak points. But we had only one point of strength which was enough for us… A promise “that all things work together for good to those who love God” (Romans 8:28). So, we held tight in the promise of Jesus and started preparation.
Throughout following people’s experiences here and other forums, I gathered too many questions and documents that are brought up in the interview. Every time I read an experience, I write down what questions were asked in the interview and what documents was asked for in the interview. So, by the time we received the notice for the interview we had 2 huge lists one for probable questions and the other for the documents (I included those lists at the bottom of my post so it could help you) we started gathering the documents, photocopying, translating (too many documents) and we started practicing the questions together, asking each other and checking the answers together.
On the interview day… Our appointment was at 9.00 AM, we were by the office at 6.55 AM (I told ya we were so nervous!) We tried to chill in Starbucks for a while then headed to the office by 7:45 AM, passed through security and checked-in at 7:50 AM. From other experiences I read, I thought they gonna let us in before 9.00 AM. I was mistaken, we were called at 9.10 AM. And for those who are looking for details, there were around 3 couples when we arrived, they let them all in before us, and they also let in other couples who came later (I think they have a preference for those coming with an attorney – we didn’t).
The Officer was a tall White American Man, in early 40s. He called our number (unlike what I read here, Officers call numbers, not names) and he let us in. His office is a whole mess, binders and files all over the place, the desk is a total mess too. He was very sharp, not even smiling. He asked the interpreter if he had interpreted in any interviews before, he sworn him in, then us and let us sit.
He asked for the IDs and the birth certificates. He held the birth certificate and asked about the information therein like; what is your full name, date of birth, place of birth. Then the driver license and asked if we live in this address (he didn’t ask us about the address). He asked me how we met and he was kind of not listening (just trying to complete his checklist) and he asked for the citizenship proof, he examined both the naturalization certificate and the passport and asked about how the citizenship was gained. He then asked about our joint documents, this is when I opened my hand bag and got out our 3 2-inch binders containing around 5000 papers of documents proving our bona fide marriage. He was amazed and said, I don’t have time to check all of these. So, I gave him the file contents (I have made this in advance for easy access of documents). He checked the file contents (which was already 5 sheets) he examined it very thoroughly and checked every single item in it and then he asked for the whole binder. He looked over the whole binder, passing some parts and then stopping at other parts (he checked the Facebook posts thoroughly, read the comments and the captions, he checked Costco cards, travel documents, asked where did we travel together, he checked the boarding passes and flight tickets, he spent the majority of the time on the photos we submitted, he was like looking in the faces in details, and kept flipping while smiling until he said “well, at this point, I don’t think your marriage is at all questionable. You have a real marriage". I gave him the new medical exam we have made (The old one wasn’t expired, I just wanted to be at the safe side). He then asked the “have you ever” questions and then told us you’re all set. I told him if he wants to keep the binders, but he said “No, I don’t need them, I am pretty confident with your marriage”. From my reading others experiences here, some interviewers are not actually officers and can’t take the decision of approving a case, that’s why I wanted to give him copies of the documents so he could show the officer our documents. But he refused to take them and said “Do you have any questions before I walk you out?” I was very curious to get a confirmation of our status so I asked him “Are we approved” and here is what he said…
I have been doing this job for years, I have made thousands of interviews, and I have never seen a couple well prepared like you. You have provided me with all supporting documents that prove your marriage and, yes, you are approved. You will get your 10-years green card in mail in a month.
I thanked him for telling us so. And he said “thank you for making this easy for me. Many people don’t bring enough documents and it ends up here (and he pointed to the many files and binders he have all over the room), it is always better to be over prepared”
He walked us out of the office, at this moment we were very happy and praising our Lord and praying the wonderful prayer of thanksgiving we memorized from the Agpeya book:
“Let us give thanks to the beneficent and merciful God, the Father of our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, for He has covered us, helped us, guarded us, accepted us unto Him, spared us, supported us, and brought us to this hour. Let us also ask Him, the Lord our God, the Almighty, to guard us in all peace this holy day and all the days of our life.

O Master, Lord, God the Almighty, the Father of our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, we thank You for every condition, concerning every condition, and in every condition, for You have covered us, helped us, guarded us, accepted us unto You, spared us, supported us, and brought us to this hour.

Therefore, we ask and entreat Your goodness, O Lover of mankind, to grant us to complete this holy day, and all the days of our life, in all peace with Your fear. All envy, all temptation, all the work of Satan, the counsel of wicked men, and the rising up of enemies, hidden and manifest, take them away from us, and from all Your people, and from this holy place that is Yours.

But those things which are good and profitable do provide for us; for it is You Who have given us the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, by the grace, compassion and love of mankind, of Your Only-Begotten Son, our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, through Whom the glory, the honor, the dominion, and the adoration are due unto You, with Him, and the Holy Spirit, the Life-Giver, Who is of one essence with You, now and at all times, and unto the ages of all ages. Amen.”

9/15/2017, we received the 10-years green card in mail.

It was a pretty stressful and long journey with many obstacles, patience tests. We thank our Good Lord that he brought us such wonderful results.
We are still praying for you all so that may our Good Lord bless your journey and manage it according to his plans.
