Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hey everyone finally got my green card in hand today, one of the best feelings ever, now finally i can go see my mama lol..

i will just make it short, because definitely its been long and i dont remember all this damn dates.

Married in April 2015
sent my application November 2015,

i wasnt called for interview untill November 2016, and no decision was made................ the wait started back on again

so i did one inforpass, and also kept contacting them about my case

July 2017 i received a notification that my I130 was approved and few days later i got a letter to do the bio-metric and medical. i did all that and havent heard anything, so i decided to see my congressman for help 3 weeks ago

the congressman contacted them for my case and last week way before i received a msg from USCIS the lady from the congressman office handling my case told me my case was approved and 40 mins later BOOOM!! opened my email and card in production from USCIS.

i cant say for sure if the congressman's office helped or not, because before i see them it seems i was on the verge of getting my GC.

so the whole process took forever, and before we get approved last week,our marriage is like 2 years 5 months, so they just give me 10 years,, so my waiting really helped .... now i dont have to go through this hell again..smh

goodluck everyone, and please have faith sometimes God makes you wait for a reason... i have friends who has conditional green card 2 years ago and they are now filing back to have 10, and i already have 10. keep the faith brothers!!! once again GOODLUCK
