GC FINALLY APPROVED- SAN DIEGO
Good Morning guys-

We were interviewed last Sept 7 by a friendly officer but wasn't approved on the spot. At the end of the interview, we did not get any RFE or a slip of paper stating our case is held for review 120 days etc etc. That left us hanging and tortured us each passing day. When we thought things will come to an end, it's another waiting game of uncertainty. We kept our faith alive and prayed fervently for God to listen to our petitions. Each passing day was so hard for me and surely depression has been on my side.

Last night, we were watching Netflix and around 9pm my phone vibrated several times. I didn't really pay attention to it at first but after 10minutes I grabbed my phone and was surprised to see text messages from USCIS.

My heart started to pound but did not rejoice yet because at the back of my mind who knows if it's a good news or an RFE or an update stating my application needs further review. I wasn't expecting to get a USCIS update at 9pm. For the past updates, I got it in the afternoon and early morning.

I silently spoke to God as I refreshed the USCIS App and for sure God has listened to my prayers! I saw the green color stating "New Card Being Produced"! PRAISE THE LORD! I opened my email and also got the same email notification.

I immediately called my spouse and cried so much for this answered prayer. I called my family back home to deliver the good news and everyone got so excited and happy when I said - I will see you in Christmas!

It was 11years in the making and living in the dark shadows- a lot of challenging times that really tested myself. Each application stage was never in my favor but it made me stronger and taught me to trust God at all times. I have learned the value of patience and humility. I thank God that finally my GC Journey is about to end. I'm on the finish line once I receive the welcome letters and GC itself.

I know a lot of our friends here are still waiting for approval. Just hang on- it's really a long tiring process. Not everyone would be lucky to get it quickly but at the end of the day, we will all see each other at the finish line. There is always Hope and never loose it!

I will continue to pray for everyone here and please do not give up. Do not stop praying but instead pray harder and talk to God because he is the greatest miracle worker. Open your hearts to him and lift up everything. Be thankful each day for what we have - for all our blessings. Despite of this immigration problem, remember we are still so blessed in many ways and we have to count that. Always be optimistic if negative thoughts are starting to come in, block those thoughts. Your spouse and your entire family is there to support you- they are the wind beneath your wings.

Prayers and Love for Everyone here! Have a great day everyone! God Bless Us All!
