K1 fiance - Adjustment of status approved - Timeline
Hi everyone,

I have been browsing this forum quite a few times - it's time for me to share my experience.

I entered the US in February this year as a K1 fiance. My wife and I got married in march. I filed for adjustment of status (I-485) and a work permit (I-765) in may. The dates were as follow :

May 4 2017 - received date for I-485 & I-765
May 19 2017 - notice of receipt for I-485 & I-765
June 5 2017 - ASC appointment notice
June 14 2017 - appointment for fingerprints
August 14 2017 - request for applicant to appear for initial interview (I-485)
September 1 2017 - New card is being produced (i-765)
September 5 2017 - Notice of approval (I-765)
September 8 2017 - Card mailed (I-765)
September 14 2017 - Card received (i-765)
September 19 2017 - Interview (I-485) - Approved

The immigration officer gave me a notice of approval at the end of the interview. My green card should be mailed within 3-4 weeks.
