Filing from Los Angeles. Submitted to Chicago
PD: 05/31/17
Biometrics: 7/11/17
Case ready for interview: 8/15/17
Interview Scheduled: 9/15/17 (our interview is on 10/18/17)
Card is being processed: 9/15/17
Card has been mailed: 9/20/17
Currently waiting for EAD to be on hand… I am not sure if this is the normal processing time but we are happy for the progress so far.
We are currently gathering all our documents to bring. We do not have a lease or renting a house/apt. We are living with my(wife) parents, so is it okay if we get a notarized letter of my parents?
For car insurance? Is it possible if I can add him even if he has no SSN yet? Both cars are under my name?
His passport is already expired, does he need to get a valid passport?
My last name has not been changed since we got married (due to no leave at work)- all our forms has my single status last name. Will that be an issue during the interview? I don’t want to have a different last name now and having my old last name on all forms.
