Finally! had my interview today 9/26/2017 (i am petitioner from F1 status)
PD August 18,2016
Appointment was 10:30, waiting till 11:30 before being called in.
we were sworn in, asked for additional supporting documents. I brought soooo much evidence, 4 years worth. Interview lasted approximately 30mins. Surprisingly most questions were directed at my husband (US citizen)
Basic questions like
How we met
How long before he proposed
What we do
My name,birthday, my parents names
Do our families get along
And the rest was just conversation
Handed over my new medical
My hubby and i go on vacation every month, so we had our album with well documented history and timelines. The officer looked at everything.
At the end of the interview, she said that we have proven a bona fide marriage, but she needs to do a verification in the system. Later today, received status update with card in production!!
14 months later. Thank you all for your support, and for those still waiting, stay positive, enjoy life, this is beyond our control so no need to fret, but be prepared for when its your turn.
