Pittsburgh Interview
Hi guys,
F1 marriage based AOS in Pittsburgh, You can check out my previous post for more info

I am sharing this for all the Pittsburgh filers because otherwise I don’t think it will help a lot of other people.

Our interview was yesterday at the Pittsburgh field office. We got there 15 min early and our lawyer was already there. He informed us that they were running a lot behind so he took the time to review the evidence I brought.

I am not even going to list everything I brought. It was just a lot of the financial evidence that people recommend here, likes months of it, pictures, and even Facebook convos and what not.
I was not looking at the room at all because everyone was stressed, but my husband later told me that we were actually the only couple they didn’t separate. That’s why they were running behind and that’s why I am sharing this because I know there were a few people on this forum interviewing in Pittsburgh after me. We were told they very rarely separate ppl here, but it happens. Make sure you prepare for that.
Anyway, the IO finally called us an hour after our appointment time. He swore us in, took our IDs and we started talking from there. He even tried speaking Russian to me. That’s when I realized he was a friendly one. (Our lawyer told us there is only one strict officer in that office)

The reason why I said this post would be unhelpful is because the only question he asked my husband is to state my full name. Yep, other than that he asked me the yes/no questions and we talked about our school and other things. He asked me if I had more evidence but then didn’t even wanna take most of what I brought. He even said “Haha do you really want this Facebook convo to be in your permanent DHS file? Haha”. I think he had made up his mind before we even walked in there.

When he wouldn’t take anymore evidence, he handed me a Welcome to the US booklet and told me I should be approved that day or this week. He then complained that they were now making them interview all employment based applications and even a bona fide interview for the employment based ‘s spouse (that’s crazy!)

I received the “Card in production” email later that day.
PD June 13th, so 3.5 months.
God bless Pittsburgh!
