interview soon!!!!
Hello guys, I cannot help to feel so excited yet so nervous at the same time. My interview is approaching and my wife and I have been preparing since the notice. I am a DACA recipient and live in Los Angeles, California. My experience is as follows:
-Advanced Parole granted and traveled on 5/5/17 and returned by land on 5/6/17
-Printed my i-94 proof of my legal entrance to the USA
I then returned to my lawyer to start my AOS application.
 My experience is as follows:
-PD: 6/2/17
-Biometrics done: 6/27/17
RFE received:6/19/17
-RFE sent: 8/4/17
-RFE received by USCIS: 8/11/17
-Status online changed to “Interview Scheduled” on 9/15/17 for Interview on 10/18/17
My wife and I have been preparing for this day since we filed the form. This is what we have so far and we still feel like we are missing something:
-joint bank account
-joint credit cards
-joint filed taxes for 2016 (we have been married since 9/19/2015, but we filed taxes until the following year)
-Car lease and car insurance
-Health and Dental Insurance
-Life Insurance
-Letter from one of our close family members
-Affidavit of Residence (we only have this document to prove our residence since we live with family we do not have bills such as electricity, gas, and water)
-Birth Certificates and Marriage Certificate
-Both Passports
-Wedding, Engagement, and other photos
That is all I can think that we have so far. Please guys let me know if I am missing anything that I should add. This forum has been of great help to me and surely to others. Thank you all! God bless!
